June 7th at Tropicana Field
The Auker-Seminick Chapter will meet at 11 am, at Tropicana Field on Saturday June 7th. The meeting will go until 2:30ish. After the meeting, the Rays take on the Mariners at 4 pm.
Retired major league umpire Jim McKeon has committed to attend the meeting as our special guest, unless ESPN calls him in to work for the network.
We have reached out to a member of the Rays coaching staff about attending and are awaiting his answer.
We will have a discussion on the “Five”. If you could put just five players in the Hall of Fame, who span major league history, who would they be. Or do we need more then five?
Also, if any member would like to talk about a current or recent project, please let me know.
